Reflections of Smoke

Reflections of Smoke

I pray upon my death
Obscurity will wrap me
In rain-washed granite.

Nameless,
My carcass will be scattered.
Take my blood, mother.

Let it spread pure like
A breeze in the hair of
Virgin lovers.

Forgetfulness is my fortune.
Allow my spirit to dance lightly
Through fields unseen.
